No sure if the young photographers can figure out zone focusing on their first try. I don't think it would be easy if it is a full frame with F3.5 lens. Half frame is slightly more forgiving even at F3.5. I assume the camera would opt for smaller aperture for the best zone focusing results unless you are in the bokeh mode.

Do built in meters really work for Chromes? I never nad much faith in them. Well I played with some Contax cameras and Chromes and got lovely results. But medium format? Maybe if it was a Rollei 6006 or the more advanced Hasselblads...

Hey Jason, You know, according to my understanding and the manual on the Grafmatic, you’re supposed to push the dark side back in behind the sheet you’re going to shoot before you shoot it. When I have forgotten this, I’ve gotten light leaks down the finger slots on the septum’s. Your frames look clean, but over and over in this I saw you shoot it with the dark slide out. I think the dark side also seats it well in the exact focus plane according to God and Graflex. Anyway, just curious if you’ve had any problems and what you’re thinking is. Take care, Charles.

what the hell, i will sit this one out and stick with my beloved, versatile ME Super, Super Program, and 645 cameras. i appreciate that Pentax is trying to make new film cameras, but it's time for them to make a worthy 35mm full frame camera instead of this quirky niche camera. and we are still waiting for the new K-1 mark 3! what is taking so long? thanks.

This is so cool. Maybe a rear mount for filters some how? hmmm Also, the amount of work into this video and many others is unreal. Love the stop motion look you did with some of the b-roll of the camera. Again, love that you usually match your video footage with the format of photos you're taking. Great video!

Guess focus, FTW. I had a few Olympus Pens and I think this is a reference to those 1960s-1970s cameras. Regardless of the execution, I think this is awesome. Am I going to buy one? Maybe I do have a Credit Card and a bad habit with buying useless crap that I don't need. Olympus also came out with the Pen F and Pen FT. Maybe, MAYBE we will get one of those in this format next? Who knows.....

RIP Thypoon :/ If you try it again I'd love to see the try! I kinda think there should of been some sort of film gate mask to help keep the film flat. Always wanted a KE-4 or that Kodak Ektar Rangefinder that is super uncommon. I had a Leica 50mm f/1.5 Xenon that a collector was suppose to CLA and just traded me for a damaged 21mm Leica finder. Guy ghosted me after he did that. Kinda sucks but its just money. On to the next project!

if you get your hands on that camera again and get it working, maybe a way to avoid more problems with 120 film workarounds would be to ask for those crazy guys that cut xray medical film into 120 and 35mm to make a custom 70mm film just for shits and gigs, you'd either have to pay a lot for it or maybe they'd do it out of passion or interest in a major analog influencer advertising for them on youtube, anyway, it's not the best since xray film isn't panchromatic but it could work without damaging your 1 out of probably less than 100 existent working graflex ke-4's you fucking pickled idiot, love your vids btw
